New integration connects payroll and accounting workflows, eliminating manual journal entry uploads and helping multi-facility healthcare organizations keep financial data in sync.
MONTEBELLO, N.Y., September 3, 2026 — Empeon, the enterprise healthcare workforce management and payroll platform, today announced a direct integration with Sage Intacct that automates the transfer of payroll journal entries into clients’ general ledgers.
The new Sage Intacct integration allows payroll data to flow directly from Empeon into Sage Intacct after payroll is processed, eliminating the need for finance teams to manually create journal entries, export files, or upload payroll data into their accounting system.
For healthcare organizations managing complex workforces across multiple facilities, entities, departments, and locations, payroll accounting can require significant manual work after every payroll run. With the integration, payroll costs can be mapped to the appropriate general ledger accounts, locations, departments, and other Sage Intacct dimensions based on each organization’s financial structure.
