In 1998, Israel Krausz founded ADS to offer local payroll services in New York and New Jersey. Since those early days, our team, services, and markets have expanded, and ADS became Empeon.

Our History

2004

ADS is founded by Israel Krausz and offers electronic payroll services, including by fax!

2007

Clients start handling their own payroll processing.

2009

ADS starts offering payroll tax services.

2015

ADS relocates from its original location in Hackensack NJ to Montebello NY.

2016

Significant expansion of the development team at Rella Technologies.

2018

HR solution is launched.

2019

ADS is rebranded as Empeon and dedicates its focus to the healthcare industry.

2020

Time & Attendance solution is launched.

2021

ACA & Benefits solution is launched.

2022

ATS is launched. Empeon partners with Showd.me for compliance optimization.

2023

Partnerships with Tapcheck, Keeper and other EWA providers.

2023

Caregiver Scheduling is launched as an add-on to Time & Attendance.

2024

Empeon partners with Equifax and Apploi.
